Level 6/7: Heavy Duty Applications

WreckMaster’s Level 6/7 Heavy Duty Applications course is a demanding three-day program designed for those who want to join the elite of the towing and recovery profession.

Learn the skills to safely and efficiently manage the most complicated scenarios, recover the heaviest casualties and impress the most demanding teams on-scene.

Learn advanced winching, compound layups and how mechanical advantage affects line load. Discover how block loading affects winching and vertical lifting, and how to use angles to calculate your truck’s lifting capacity for safer, more effective towing under difficult circumstances. Practice challenging scene management and learn how to communicate effectively with incident commanders on the scene.

If you want your customers to say “how did they do that so fast?” and “we’re calling them again,” take the Level 6/7: Heavy Duty Applications course. Your instructors did.

“You can take this course, or you can learn the hard way. It’ll take you 10 years of driving a heavy duty tow truck to learn what’s covered here.”

– Lee Roberts, Roberts Heavy Duty Towing & Recovery

Are you the type of operator who wants to know why something worked (or didn’t)? Are you the go-to guy when your team has questions? Are you the one who takes charge at an incident? Do you think like an engineer? Do you want to (safely) push your equipment to the limits? Are you a leader? Have you taken the Level 4/5: Advanced Applications course?

Then WreckMaster’s Level 6/7 Heavy Duty Applications course is for you.
The program is designed for owners, operators and trainers who specialize in heavy duty towing and recovery, particularly those who are lead operators on recovery crews.
Operators with three to five years’ experience in the towing and recovery industry may benefit more from the training modules because they can apply direct, personal experiences to the material the instructor is covering.
WreckMaster’s Level 4/5 Advanced Techniques course is a pre-requisite for this course.
